Watering Plant Material

After installation, we suggest regular watering on intervals, depending on the time of year: Spring & Fall – water every other day; Summer – water everyday for 30 days then watch for stress on the plant materials. Remember to deep-water each plant several times to insure deep saturation. Also, keep in mind that shaded garden areas require less water than sunny areas....

Trimming and Pruning

The best time to trim your plant material is during the months of July and August. This time is ideal because the plan material has dropped its flowers and it is just before new buds are present. Hand prune your rhododendrons and similar plants instead of using an electric trimmer to prevent the leaves from being torn. All deciduous trees (i.e. birch, dogwood, black walnut) should be pruned in the winter months to prevent bleeding....
